It features a highly polished rose on its hinged lid, which opens to reveal a 5/8 inch (16 mm) diameter working compass. This fine compass locket weighs 0.3 ounces (8.5 grams), measures 11/16 inches (18 mm) in diameter and is 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) thick.
